Garden Tour and Tea

An Evening Stroll of Discovery ($10/person)

Our Garden Tour is on a Thursday evening in July. You will park your car, and explore the area of lovely homes and gardens behind the Orangeville District Secondary School close to the centre of town. There are 7+ beautiful gardens to explore and admire along two well established streets. During your visit you will enjoy an "evening tea" including a sandwich, squares and refreshing drink as well as a musician adding to the ambiance in one of the gardens on a warm summer evening. The cost for this lovely evening is $10.00 - tickets will be available at Dufferin Garden Centre, Orangeville Flowers and Booklore.

  • 2. S.P. “Snow Melt” – design to show visible use of water.
  • 3. S.P. “Rain Drops” – a small design. (13.9cm to max 25.4cm in any one dimension.)

June 13, 2017.

  • 1. S.P. “Recycled Beauty” – design using a recyclable or re-purposed container, (must use a non-returnable container.) Winning entry to be presented to the family of Daphne Scaife.
  • 2. S.P. “Moving Up the Ladder” – a line design; your interpretation.
  • 3. S.P. “Toadstool” – a fresh miniature design.

Notes:Refer to definition of Line design in O.J.E.S available from flower show chair. Novice designers; please refer to definition of novice on page 34 of your yearbook. Must note on entry tag that they are novice. A separated class for novice entries will be made for each design class in each flower show.

Workshop: Herb Planter

Seniors Centre, 26 Bythia Street, Orangeville.

Make your own planter, all materials supplied. Learn about planting, growing and usage.

Plant Sale

8:00 - 12 noon (or until sold out!)

Annuals, perennials, shrubs and much much more. Be there bright and early to get the best of what we've got!

*If you can assist on Sale Day please contact Thom Robinson at a meeting or by calling 519-942-0779. Donations of potted plants may be left at the bottom of Thom’s driveway at any time.
